Teaching & Learning
A (r)evolution in learning and teaching
The education sector is changing as never before. Already evolving rapidly via technology and generational change, learning and teaching has been completely upended by COVID-19.
Suddenly the move to online formats has been accelerated, new teaching and learning skills acquired and novel approaches to pedagogy devised. A re-evaluation of ‘place’ in the lives of our students and their teachers has been triggered.
There are now a myriad of opportunities to be addressed:
How do we inspire and energise our students?
What is the role of the campus in the future of education?
What are the new pedagogies and how do we evolve our learning and teaching spaces to support them?
These are just some of the questions we’ve explored over the years with institutions such as Macquarie University, University of New South Wales, University of Canberra, Monash University, Canberra Institute of Technology, Bendigo Kangan Institute and the University of Melbourne.
Engaging with both staff and students, we have devised learning and teaching strategies and the spaces to support them. We have conducted surveys and held on-campus brainstorming and ‘big ideas’ sessions. Along the way we’ve assessed facilities, analysed space and timetabling schedules and undertaken best practice benchmarking and research.
All these processes have enabled our education clients to envision their future.
Let us help you envision yours.
